I have a lot of hobbies. Basketball, kendo, kung fu... origami, reading manga, building models... fishing, petting cats, cooking... rescuing people?

How do you have time to manage all those hobbies?

Also I've read plenty of manga before, but my main hobby is using computers and programming.

Sometimes I don't sleep much.

Mm, that sounds interesting. I don't know much about computers, except the basics.

Well, I like computers a lot and am planning in majoring in that sort of thing in about two years, so.

I was thinking of studying psychology.

I really like learning about people, so.

Maybe, but you can't show biases when you're working that kind of job.

Actually, once I get the degree, I'm going to apply to work with the police. I want to help people understand and keep them safe... but not quite that way.

A policeman with a psych degree? That's... pretty different.

[fridgeninja]

There are specialist jobs, at least in the big cities. Forensic psychology... using your understanding of how people think to help identify or analyze suspects and crimes.

I think I'd be good at it.

Ah, yeah. . . There is that sort of thing, isn't there? Not that it's my thing, even if analysis is a hobby of mine.

I used to like to just sit at the train station and watch people going about their days.

I don't know, I was never one for. . . conversation, I guess. You said you've been in a placed called 'Inaba', right? What's it like there?

It's a quiet little town near the edge of the Kansai region. They have a nice shrine, and the Samegawa River, and... good beefsteak? I'd never lived in a rural area before, so it was a nice change of pace.

Huh.

I've never really been to a rural area myself, either - the furthest I went out of my city was Hokkaido for our class trip.
