[As good as his word, five minutes later he'll text here just before he knocks. He's flushed, only about half from the jog across the apartment complex, and he has a backpack slung over one shoulder, containing a fleece blanket (for shivers) and a water bottle (for dehydration) and a few other emergency supplies tucked discreetly into the outer pocket.]

She looks a little awkward; wearing her high school uniform because she didn't want to stay in her pajamas when a visitor is here.
Not to mention that she does have rabbit ears atop of her head, enough to make her flush in embarrassment. ]
S- Sorry to make you go out of your way here...
no subject
It's really not that far. I don't mind.
Right now, you need...
[He holds out a hand, as he carefully shrugs off his backpack and sets it in a corner.]
Touch. It will make you feel better and clearer-headed, but... probably... some other things, too.
no subject
Also her school bag is in a corner of the room as well. ]
Thanks. . . and yeah, that'd probably help. Sorry that there isn't much to see here.
[ She will take his hand in hers, however. ]

And this is the quickest way to make money, anyway.
[His grip on her hand is very light, but he does give her a brief, encouraging squeeze.]
Should we sit down somewhere?
no subject
[ She laughs, more for herself than anybody else. ]
Yeah, that'd probably. . . [ She pauses. ] It'd be for the best. Although the floor is a bit hard for sitting.

[He manages not to say bed, although his brain goes there. No. This is not like that. This is just... he's just helping, that's all.]
Anyway. We all have people we miss. Maybe the best we can do... is find the new people we fit with here.
I wouldn't wish these moons on anyone.
[And Souji assumes most people don't pine for their friends quite the same way he does.]

[ Being from a rather well off family, she always slept on a bed. The only time she's slept on a futon was when she had to. ]
I guess. But they're my club members. They're the most important people to me.
[ And also her only friends, but you know.
Details. ]

Anywhere you want to sit will be fine. If we just lean on each other, it might help even more?
no subject
[ She hums to herself, a little inquisitive as she tugs him towards her room. It isn't as if she hasn't had guys in her room before, so it's not as big of a deal as it should be, but. . .
It isn't as she's not aware of the implications. ]
Just sit down.
[ Is she trying to convince herself to Just sit or is it just simple. ]
no subject
He's going to keep telling himself that.]
It's comfortable.
[This is the most banal remark in the world and he feels silly as soon as he says it, but. Even if he's used to it, and touch helps, the moon is affecting him too.]
... None of the brochures said the moon would slow down my brain.
no subject
[ She likes her very comfortable bed, thank you very much.
While the touch does help, it isn't enough. Logically, Inaba knows logically what's going on here, but still- ]
No fucking kidding. I'm never going to see the moon back home normally ever again.
no subject
[He squeezes her hand again, lightly. Their arms are forearm-to-forearm now, which is... nicer. Still not enough to keep his brain quiet, but closer, maybe.]
no subject
[ She tries to keep her voice even, although it's kind of difficult
to think about anything else besides how nice this all feels, how he squeezes her hand and that alone makes her fluster when it earnestly makes her heart race when it logically shouldn't.
It's nice, but it isn't enough.
Which is probably why she can't help but sigh a little pathetically. ]
Yeah, it sure does. I didn't think that those sorts of stories would deal with. . . although I guess some people are into that.
no subject
[He sounds serious but not particularly disturbed about it. He shifts a little as they sit, until his leg bumps lightly up against hers, and lets out a very faint, involuntary sigh at the additional contact and the sudden rush of endorphins it brings.]
no subject
[ Inaba, on the other hand, doesn't sound bothered at all; at least until his leg bumps slightly against her own, causing her eyes to widen a little bit because the touch is surprisingly nice, actually. ]
This is. . . nice.

[ . . . . ] "A little while"?

Of course it does. Guess there wouldn't be any easy way to sate things, huh?
